Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Fragrance Sales Associate to create a warm, welcoming environment and deliver exceptional customer service. You will engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations and educate them on notes and layering techniques to foster confidence and loyalty.

You will also maintain a polished shop floor, assist with merchandising, and use clienteling tools to drive sales and notify customers about launches and events. A 1+ year track record in customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service or selling experience preferred.
• Ability to convey fragrance knowledge and recommendations clearly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with point-of-sale technology and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized fragrance recommendations based on customer style, mood, and preferences.
• Demonstrate and sell fragrances and related beauty products while educating customers on notes and layering techniques.
• Maintain a polished, shoppable space; assist with merchandising, signage, and pricing updates.
• Drive sales and loyalty by using clienteling tools, promoting launches, and collaborating with Beauty team.
