Job summary

DSM-Firmenich is seeking a Process Engineer to support our Princeton fragrance manufacturing facility. You will lead engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, within budget and quality standards, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams.

You will drive continuous improvement on the production floor, manage schedules and budgets, and provide technical guidance while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in project engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution of complex projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including risk identification, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project management tools/software; experience with project management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, provide technical guidance, and resolve project-related challenges.
• Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Serve as a visible authority on the production floor and across the plant, acting as an auditor, coach, and enforcer of plant policies, procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
