Job summary

DSM in Princeton, NJ seeks a Senior Fragrance Development Manager in Perfumery & Beauty to lead fragrance projects for major brands. You will shape olfactive strategy, mentor perfumers, and drive global development networks across regions.

With 8+ years in fragrance development and a related bachelor’s degree, you’ll partner with clients, manage timelines, and defend profitable outcomes while advancing consumer insights and sustainability in product creation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in fragrance development.
• Ability to work under tight timelines; handle multiple projects and clients.
• Strong cross-functional partnering and communication skills; global, multicultural, matrix environment.
• Winning team spirit with a strategic mindset.
• Experience with consumer insights preferred.

Responsibilities

• Win and defend business profitably by leading fragrance development projects of major size and strategic importance.
• Lead and coordinate global fragrance development network with vision and strategy.
• Define, drive, implement and follow-up action plans mobilizing regional Fragrance Development Managers, Perfumers and other functions.
• Ensure testing plans identify winning candidates and feed learnings into development.
• Support sales efforts, interact with clients weekly, deliver impactful presentations as an olfactive advisor.
