Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Senior Fragrance Development Manager in Princeton, NJ to lead major fragrance projects and shape the regional and global olfactive strategy. Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in fragrance development; ideally within beauty and care space.
• Ability to work under tight timelines; ability to handle multiple projects and clients.
• Strong cross‑functional partnering and communication skills; comfortable navigating in a global, multicultural and matrix environment.
• Winning team spirit with a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

• Win and defend business profitably by leading proactive and reactive fragrance development projects of major size and strategic importance.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate global fragrance development network by bringing vision, strategy and focus.
• Define, drive, implement and follow-up relevant action plans mobilizing regional Fragrance Development Managers, Perfumers and other relevant functions.
• Ensure a testing plan is in place and executed to identify winning candidates, integrating learnings into the development process.
• Support sales effort, interacting with clients on a weekly basis, building strategic working relationships, delivering impactful presentations to clients and acting as an olfactive advisor when required.
