Job summary

Newell Brands’ Yankee Candle-Retail Assistant Manager in Newark, DE supports the Store Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience and drive profitable top-line sales growth. You will lead a team, recruit and develop talent, manage schedules, and ensure onboarding while maintaining store standards.

You will focus on coaching, loss prevention, inventory accuracy, and implementing selling strategies to maximize sales and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• High School completion or equivalent GED.
• Proven experience in a retail management role (2+ years preferred).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in retail software and Microsoft Office.
