Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee to load, transport, and deliver automotive glass products on a designated route. You will handle fragile glass safely, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain strong customer service while complying with regulations.

The role involves operating box trucks, loading and unloading glass, and supporting warehouse tasks like inventory and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; DOT may apply for some vehicles.
Experience delivering fragile materials preferred.
Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing and delivering products.
Basic computer skills for route navigation and documentation.
Able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Unload and assist customers with deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices and POD documents.
Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and material organization.
Follow proper handling and safety protocols to prevent damage and ensure safety.
Communicate with warehouse, dispatch, and customers for smooth operations.
