Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse associate to load, transport, and deliver automotive glass on a designated route. You will handle fragile glass safely, ensure on-time deliveries, and uphold excellent customer service while adhering to safety regulations.

The role requires previous delivery experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate or learn forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous delivery driving experience, preferable with fragile materials.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload and assist customers with their deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and organization as needed.
• Follow proper handling and safety protocols to prevent product damage.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
