Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee to load, transport, and deliver automotive glass on a designated route. You will ensure safe handling, on-time deliveries, and excellent customer service while operating a box truck and warehouse equipment.

A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for success. The role involves driving in varying conditions, loading/unloading fragile glass, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Medical DOT certification may be required for certain vehicles.
• Delivery driving experience, preferably with fragile materials.
• Ability to operate or learn forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing, and delivering products.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Unload and assist customers with deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain delivery records and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and organization.
