Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee to load, transport, and deliver automotive glass on a designated route, with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires operating box trucks, handling fragile glass, performing routine vehicle checks, and maintaining accurate delivery records while supporting warehouse tasks.

Weekend shifts may be required; a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in delivery driving, preferably with fragile materials.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing, and delivering products.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in compliance with laws and policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload and assist customers with their deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices and POD documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and organization.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent product damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Communicate with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
