Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering automotive glass on a designated route. Safe handling of fragile glass and timely, accurate deliveries are essential to satisfy customers.

You will operate company box trucks, use forklifts and pallet jacks, perform routine vehicle inspections, maintain delivery records, and assist in warehouse tasks while upholding safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Delivery experience preferred, especially with fragile materials.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in compliance with traffic laws and policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload and assist customers with deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain delivery records, including invoices and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and material organization.
• Follow proper handling and safety protocols to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers.
