Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver and Warehouse associate to load, transport, and deliver automotive glass on a designated route. You will ensure safe handling of fragile glass, timeliness, and excellent customer service while maintaining delivery records.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, operating forklifts/pallet jacks, and complying with safety protocols. Weekend shifts may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (DOT may be required for some vehicles).
• Delivery driving experience, preferably with fragile materials.
• Ability to operate or learn forklift and pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail and loading accuracy.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with laws and policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload and assist customers with deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain delivery records and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and organization.
• Follow proper handling and safety protocols to prevent damage.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, dispatch, and customers.
