US Signal is seeking a Field CISO to act as a fractional security executive for our customers, engaging in advisory services and pre‑sales support. The role sits at the intersection of sales and delivery, driving security programs and executive-level risk conversations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in information security and compliance, with deep experience across SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001, plus recognized certifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in information security and compliance, including CISO/vCISO or senior security leadership.
• Deep knowledge of SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001; professional credentials such as CISSP, CISM, CCISO, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CCSP, or equivalent.
• Ability to translate cybersecurity risk into business and financial impact; executive-level communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Join discovery calls as the security expert to assess risk posture, shape the right solution, and support deal closure.
• Lead advisory engagements; build roadmaps, board briefings, and compliance programs across SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, and NIST/ISO 27001.
• Translate technical risk into business language for executives and boards; define actionable steps and risk mitigation.
• Shape advisory methodology and positioning of SOC/MDR and managed security services in the market.
• Execute customer advisory engagements to measurably improve client security posture.
