Job summary

Go Fractional seeks a hands-on Fractional IT Cybersecurity Lead to guide the company’s IT infrastructure and security program. You will work with leadership and IT resources to design a secure, scalable environment for growth in engineering and manufacturing contexts.

You will own the cybersecurity program, oversee governance, and ensure readiness for NIST/CMMC requirements while mentoring teams and coordinating budgets and external providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• At least 10 years in technology leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise software, data management, IT governance.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity practices and NIST/CMMC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an IT and cybersecurity roadmap aligned with growth and objectives.
• Own and oversee the cybersecurity program, including IAM, MFA, EDR, vulnerability and patch management.
• Lead IT operations, budgeting, and provider management for secure, reliable systems.
• Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC and related regulatory requirements.
• Mentor internal/external staff and manage roles, responsibilities, and resource needs.
• Maintain security policies, documentation, and monthly IT/cybersecurity reporting.
