Zusammenfassung

Interdependence is seeking a senior cybersecurity practitioner and virtual CISO for a growing portfolio of mid-market clients. You will own the full client lifecycle, from initial security risk assessments through ongoing advisory, compliance management, and incident response coordination.

Lead the security program development, oversee SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CCPA, NIST CSF, and CMMC compliance, and coordinate with boards and executives.

Qualifikationen

• 7–10+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience across at least two domains.
• 3+ years at CISO/director/senior consulting level with board interactions.
• Active CISSP certification and knowledge of major frameworks.
• Experience building or expanding security programs from the ground up.
• Strong ability to manage multiple client engagements without quality loss.

Aufgaben

• Serve as outsourced CISO for 8–12 clients with executive security leadership.
• Oversee risk assessments, gap analyses, and pen test oversight.
• Develop and maintain security programs, policies and IR plans.
• Lead compliance efforts for SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CCPA, NIST CSF, CMMC.
• Present risk posture and remediation roadmaps to boards and execs.
• Coordinate AI-driven tooling for vulnerability scanning and logging.
• Manage incident response coordination across teams and clients.
• Collaborate with reputation/PR teams on security-related crises.
• Participate in business development and client engagements.
• Mentor junior analysts and scale the practice.
