Job summary

MatchaCFO is a strategic finance and accounting firm serving growing tech companies that need sophisticated financial leadership without building a large in-house finance organization. This role is a fractional CFO and strategic finance partner to multiple client companies.

You will own senior client relationships, advise founders on cash runway, forecasts, financing decisions, and drive improving financial processes while coaching Matcha's team.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience at CFO/VP of Finance level.
• Experience advising founders, CEOs and executive teams.
• Strong skills in modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CFO to multiple Matcha clients and translate financial data into clear decisions.
• Own senior relationships and guide strategic financial discussions with boards and leadership.
• Lead financial planning, cash runway management, and KPI development.
• Oversee accounting and financial operations with strong controls and reporting.
• Mentor and develop finance professionals across the firm.
