Job summary

Flying A Pumping Services is seeking a Frac Service Supervisor to lead daily hydraulic fracturing operations at wellsites. You will supervise a frac crew, ensure safe, efficient pumping, and coordinate with clients and engineers to execute well plans.

The role demands 5+ years in fracturing with 2+ years in supervision, strong equipment knowledge, and excellent communication skills. You will uphold safety standards, mentor crew, and report on-site results regularly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hydraulic fracturing experience, including 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong understanding of frac equipment and operations (pumps, blenders, control systems).
• Proven ability to lead a crew and maintain morale in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fracturing operations at the wellsite, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Manage frac crew members, providing direction during equipment setup, pumping, and breakdown.
• Enforce safety standards, PPE usage, and regulatory compliance; conduct regular safety meetings.
• Maintain, repair and monitor frac equipment (pumps, blenders, hydration units, high-pressure lines).
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal teams to plan and execute jobs per well plans.
• Identify and resolve equipment or operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Complete daily job reports, inventory usage, and equipment condition reports; communicate results to Operations Manager.
• Assist in training new crew members on operations, safety, and procedures.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for clients and ensure satisfaction.
