Job summary

Flying A Pumping Services in Texas seeks a Frac Equipment Operator II to operate and maintain fracturing equipment on oilfield jobs. You will set up, run, and break down frac equipment, monitor pressures and rates, and coordinate with crew members to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires 1+ year of frac operation experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment. A CDL with endorsements is highly preferred, with opportunities for growth and company-paid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating frac equipment in oilfield services.
• Strong understanding of frac operations, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on frac equipment.
• Valid CDL with endorsements (strongly preferred).
• Excellent communication and ability to maintain detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Operates fracturing equipment (pumps, blenders, data systems) per job specs.
• Performs pre- and post-job inspections and maintenance.
• Assists rig-up and rig-down of frac equipment on location.
• Monitors pressure and rate to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoots mechanical issues and performs minor repairs.
• Keeps logs of equipment performance and maintenance.
• Follows safety policies and reports hazards or incidents.
• Mentors junior operators on tasks and safety procedures.
• Communicates progress and adjustments to field supervisor and customers.
