Job summary

Beehive Industries seeks an NDI Technician - FPI Level II to independently set up, perform, interpret, evaluate, and document fluorescent penetrant inspections on aerospace hardware in accordance with approved procedures and NAS 410 guidelines.

The Level II will act as a technical resource, providing guidance and supervision to trainees and Level I personnel, ensuring compliant, high-quality FPI work across processes and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience performing fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) and interpreting indications.
• Ability to document results per procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of NAS 410 recommended for Level II technicians.

Responsibilities

• Set up, standardize, and independently perform FPI/PT per procedures and customer requirements.
• Interpret and evaluate FPI indications, document outcomes per acceptance criteria.
• Perform equipment standardizations, system performance checks, and process controls; identify nonconforming conditions.
• Review applicable codes, standards, drawings, and purchase-order requirements.
