Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking an experienced NDI Technician - FPI Level II to set up, perform, interpret, and document fluorescent penetrant inspections on aerospace hardware at the Cincinnati, Ohio facility. You will guide trainees, ensure NAS 410 compliance, and maintain audit-ready records.

Must meet NAS 410 Level II requirements and Beehive's NDT written practice; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical/trade education in NDT, inspection, manufacturing, engineering tech or related preferred.
• Must meet NAS 410 Revision 6 training and Beehive Industries' NDT written practice.

Responsibilities

• Set up, standardize, and independently perform FPI/PT per procedures and customer/industry requirements.
• Interpret and evaluate FPI indications against acceptance criteria; document results.
• Perform equipment standardizations, system checks, and process controls; identify and contain nonconforming conditions.
• Review codes, standards, specs, drawings, and contract docs controlling FPI activities.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to trainees and Level I personnel as allowed by practice.
• Develop detailed work instructions for final approval by a Level III when authorized.
• Ensure records, traceability, logs, and nonconformance docs are complete and audit-ready.
• Support root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and cross-functional issue resolution.
• Support audits and demonstrations of FPI process controls and personnel compliance.
• Perform other duties to support Quality and manufacturing operations.
