Job summary

Beehive Industries in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a qualified NDI Technician - FPI Level I to perform fluorescent penetrant inspections on aerospace hardware in accordance with NAS 410 and Beehive's NDT practice. You will prepare parts, perform required steps, document results, and work under Level II/III guidance.

Candidates must have NAS 410 Level I training, able to read drawings, maintain records, and obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must meet NAS 410 Level I PT training and Beehive NDT written practice.
• 16 hours PT training and 130 hours PT experience required.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and specs.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI/PT) per work instructions and customer specs.
• Prepare parts, apply penetrant, dwell, develop, inspect, and post-clean per parameters.
• Conduct equipment checks and document inspection results and traceability.
• Escalate out-of-tolerance conditions to Level II/III as required.
