Altera Corporation in San Jose, California is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join the Manufacturing Content Development Engineering Group. You will architect, develop, validate and productize high-quality manufacturing test content for FPGAs, designed to screen manufacturing defects and guarantee high-quality outgoing parts.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in IC design and IC test; knowledge of DFT methodologies like scan chains, Memory BIST, ATPG, boundary scan, test compression, IJTAG/JTAG.
• Experience with RTL design, synthesis, and verification flows; fault grading, test time & yield analyses; scripting in Python/Perl/TCL.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement DFT strategies for FPGAs including scan insertion, BIST, and test compression.
• Collaborate with RTL design and verification to embed testability features.
• Define/test plans, patterns, and fault models to optimize coverage and yield.
• Develop MBIST manufacturing test content flows and scripts.
• Analyze test results, debug silicon failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
