Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Digital Electrical Engineer II to design and develop next-generation CCAs and FPGA-based solutions powering mission-critical systems. You will work in a cross-functional, agile environment across architectures including AMD, Altera, and Microchip.

You will contribute from architectural concepts through hardware integration and production release, applying HDL, digital design, and verification within a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or STEM; degree by start date.
• Experience with digital electronics, circuit design, HDL for configurable logic devices.
• Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMM) for validation.
• Experience may be gained through work, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations.
• Model digital algorithms, partition design functions, and write reliable embedded code.
• Perform schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on layout.
• Integrate and validate hardware in lab with advanced test instruments.
• Maintain design documentation and configuration management throughout the lifecycle.
• Support engineering activities from customer requirements to production release.
