Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer I to design and develop next-generation circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and FPGA-based solutions. You will work across gigabit interfaces, RF/EO DSP, embedded controllers, and processor interfaces in an agile, cross-functional team with systems, mechanical, and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field; degree by start date.
• Experience or coursework in Digital Electronics, Circuit Design/Analysis, Digital Design, or HDL coding.
• Experience with common electronic test/measurement equipment for circuit characterization and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations.
• Model digital algorithms, partition design functions, and write high-reliability embedded code.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on layout.
• Integrate and validate hardware designs in a lab with advanced test instrumentation.
• Maintain design documentation and configuration management throughout the lifecycle.
• Support engineering activities from customer requirements to production release.
