Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer II to develop FPGA designs across major vendors including Xilinx, Altera, and Microsemi. You will work on gigabit interfaces, RF/EO DSP, and embedded processing, collaborating with hardware and systems engineers to meet requirements and drive projects to on-time delivery.

You will verify designs with directed and constrained random testing, document requirements and verification plans, and may mentor junior

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog coding.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-quality FPGA releases from proof of concept to production.
• Architect FPGA-based systems to determine parts, interfaces, and CONOPS.
• Translate system-level requirements into FPGA requirements.
