Job summary

MBDA is seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to contribute to the development of complex FPGA platforms. You will be part of an ambitious team driving designs from concept through validation, touching signal processing and embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Generating complex FPGA architectures and design implementations using VHDL, Simulink, etc., targeting Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi devices.
• Ability to verify complex FPGA implementations using VHDL and System Verilog/UVM test-bench methodologies.
• Proficiency in FPGA design toolsets and Mentor verification tools (QuestaSim & ModelSim).
• Strong skills in generating low-level software (C) for FPGA test and integration with embedded systems.
• Ability to configure and document designs to a high professional standard.

Responsibilities

• Work on the FPGA design life cycle from requirements inception through to a validated design.
• Develop and integrate complex FPGA modules for signal processing and embedded processing systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams and leverage latest vendor tools.
• Document designs thoroughly and ensure high quality, reproducible results.
