Aegis Search Ltd in Aberdeen, Maryland seeks an experienced FPGA engineer to work on advanced defense technology projects. You will design FPGA solutions for software-defined radio systems, implement DSP algorithms, and develop waveforms.

You’ll take charge of FPGA design and development for cutting‑edge software‑defined radio (SDR) systems, shaping custom waveforms used in critical Department of Defense programs.
You’ll be part of a small, focused team where you work directly with a senior expert, both mentoring junior engineers and learning advanced techniques yourself. You’ll also have the freedom to choose your tools and methods, giving you genuine autonomy over how you deliver your work.
The salary is in the range of $160k – $180k, and on top of that, you’ll receive full health, vision, and dental coverage, a 401k with contributions, and a minimum of 20 days PTO plus federal holidays—so you can focus on your projects without sacrificing your personal time.

The contractor works on electronic warfare and signal processing projects to support the U.S. Department of Defense. You’ll be part of a team delivering critical technology to enhance national security.
