Job summary

Aegis Search Ltd is seeking a skilled FPGA engineer to design high performance FPGA architectures using VHDL and Xilinx Vivado at Aberdeen Proving Ground. You will join a small, hands-on team focused on critical defense technologies and will work on-site.

The base salary ranges from $160k to $200k, depending on experience, with eligibility for a Top Secret clearance. DSP experience and EW/SIGINT/RADAR familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong FPGA design experience including Xilinx Vivado
• DSP experience required
• Experience with EW, SIGINT, RADAR, or similar technologies
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required or in process

Responsibilities

• Design high performance FPGA architectures using VHDL and Xilinx tools
• Work in a small, hands-on technical team
• Maintain on-site presence at Aberdeen Proving Ground while delivering quality work

You’ll design high performance FPGA architectures using VHDL and Xilinx tools, working in an environment that values quality of work over all else. You’ll be working in a small, close knit, highly technical team – everyone here is hands on!

The base salary for this role will be in the region of $160k – $200k, dependent on experience. The role is based full time on site at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
