Datrose is seeking a Digital Design Engineer in Manassas, VA to contribute to defense/aerospace hardware development. The contractor role will require DoD Secret clearance at hire and involves FPGA design, SoC-enabled embedded processing, and thorough verification across the hardware design lifecycle.

The position emphasizes design leadership, circuit card expertise, and the ability to translate complex designs into practical, validated hardware implementations for rigorous environments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with FPGA development and circuit card design.
• Ability to work across design, verification and documentation phases.
• Understanding of SoC design with embedded processors on FPGA.
• Willingness to obtain DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design of digital electronics including FPGA development and circuit design.
• Definition, design, verification and documentation of hardware modules.
• Architectural definition, system simulation and detailed design approach.
• Interface definition and device design/simulation aspects.
• Evaluate design flow: high-level design, synthesis, place and route, timing and power.
• Create test and simulation plans and verify results.
• Perform verification/validation on target hardware.
• Provide leadership on inter-disciplinary design efforts.
