True Anomaly, a Denver-based space tech company, seeks an FP&A Senior Analyst to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the business with emphasis on R&D budgets and CAPEX planning.

You’ll partner with engineering, program management, and finance to shape the technology roadmap and company strategy, delivering actionable insights and robust financial models in a high-visibility role.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting with ownership of budgeting, forecasting, or variance analysis.
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel; comfortable working with large, complex datasets.
• Experience tying budgets to engineering, R&D, or capital projects and translating technical priorities into financial plans.
• Experience running planning cycles (annual budget, quarterly forecast) and presenting to leadership.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, including engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to FP&A planning cycles: annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning.
• Build and maintain financial models: revenue forecasting, cash flow, headcount planning, scenarios.
• Conduct variance analysis against budget/forecast and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Support enterprise- and program-level reporting for leadership and external stakeholders.
• Partner with program finance, managers, and operations to provide forward-looking insights on performance.
• Improve FP&A tools and data pipelines to accelerate budgets and forecasts.
