Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our Finance team.

This role focuses on headcount planning and modeling, acting as the finance partner to our Engineering organization, working with senior leadership on planning, reporting, and analysis in a fast-moving aerospace business. The ideal candidate is analytically rigorous, comfortable with ambiguity, and adept at adapting priorities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical finance role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with PO/PR approvals for multi-million-dollar projects.
• Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and ability to partner with senior leadership and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own headcount planning and modeling across the company, with department-level forecasts.
• Partner with Engineering to provide analysis and financial visibility to leadership.
• Contribute to annual budgets, reforecasts, and long-range planning with consolidation and review.
• Perform variance analysis and surface actionable insights for budget and forecast.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting, including executive materials.
• Identify and implement FP&A process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support PO/PR approvals and tracking for multi-million-dollar projects within Engineering.
