Job summary

Chiesi USA is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst for Operations & Enablement in Cary, NC. The role partners with Accounting, HR, Procurement, IT, and Global Finance to govern finance data, master data, and reporting platforms, driving efficiency and reliable insights.

You will lead governance of organizational data, build scalable BI solutions with SAP, Board, and Power BI, and improve Procure-to-Pay workflows while supporting automation and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in FP&A, finance operations, financial systems, business intelligence, procurement finance, or a related finance function.
• Experience working with ERP systems, planning applications, reporting platforms, or other enterprise business systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience developing or maintaining reporting and analytical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate business needs into operational, system, or reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of budgets, cost centers, organizational structures, approval authorities, coding, and the downstream impacts of finance master data changes.

Responsibilities

• Finance Systems, Master Data & Organizational Governance: Own and govern finance master data, cost centers, hierarchies, reporting structures, planning attributes, and financial authorization structures.
• Coordinate and implement organizational and employee changes across finance, planning, procurement, and reporting systems.
• Lead FP&A governance related to organizational data, reporting hierarchies, authorization structures, and cross-system alignment.
• Partner with HR, Accounting, Procurement, IT, and Global Finance to ensure structures remain accurate and aligned.
• Investigate and resolve data, system, and process issues across finance, planning, reporting, and procurement platforms.
• Develop and maintain policies, controls, documentation, and SOPs supporting finance operations and governance.
• Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence: Be SME for SAP, Board, Power BI and related tools; design and maintain reports, dashboards, analytics.
• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and automation tools.
• Ensure data integrity for budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Develop documentation and training materials for self-service analytics.
• Troubleshoot data issues, coordinate testing, and support controlled changes.
• Procure-to-Pay Governance & Financial Operations: Partner for procure-to-pay processes; ensure spend aligns with budgets and policies.
• Provide first-line financial approval for purchase requisitions; ensure justification, funding, coding, timing, and approval routing.
• Own finance governance for purchasing workflows and approval structures.
• Improve end-to-end purchasing processes and controls with stakeholders.
• Monitor purchasing activity; identify trends and opportunities for compliance and efficiency.
• Ensure changes reflect in purchasing workflows and authorizations.
• Operational Improvement & Enablement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate finance processes.
• Lead initiatives on workflow optimization, reporting automation, system enhancements, controls improvement.
• Coordinate testing and validation for system and process changes.
• Drive adoption of standardized processes across Finance systems and operations.
• Support change management with training and guidance.
