Job summary

PROPWR in Houston is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to own budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across projects and the enterprise. You will lead monthly reporting, long-range planning, and ad-hoc analyses in partnership with the Director of Finance and other leaders.

The role emphasizes scalable planning processes, KPI dashboards, and robust financial models, with close collaboration during month-end close and with business leaders to drive actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; ERP/FP&A tools preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and month-end close.
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
• Comfortable with change management and agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Support recurring forecasting, coordinating inputs across the business.
• Analyze actuals vs budget and explain drivers at project and enterprise levels.
• Support rolling budgeting and long-term planning.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadership reviews.
• Partner with leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and actions.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards for projects and enterprise.
• Build and maintain scalable financial models and templates.
• Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close for accuracy.
• Support financial analysis for business cases and capital investments.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from senior leadership and finance.
