Job summary

Elior North America in Houston, TX is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will partner with segment leadership to drive profitability and provide meaningful financial insights to guide operational decisions.

The role requires building financial models, dashboards in Power BI, and balancing day-to-day accounting with long-range planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
6+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.
Strong forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions at all levels.
Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Experience partnering with shared services finance or accounting teams.
Experience in commercial finance, pricing analysis, or margin optimization.
Experience partnering with sales, marketing, or operations to influence growth strategies.
Experience leading or supporting system transformation or process automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, budget-to-actual comparisons, variance analysis, and key financial performance indicators.
Monitor financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability, manage costs, and support business growth.
Partner closely with segment leadership and operational teams to provide financial guidance, evaluate business performance, and support informed decision-making.
Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, business planning, and evaluation of strategic initiatives.
Utilize financial reporting and data visualization tools, including Power BI, to develop dashboards, automate reporting, and improve visibility into key financial and operational metrics.
Support month-end and year-end close activities by partnering with accounting and shared services teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare financial presentations, management reports, and ad hoc analyses for senior leadership, clearly communicating financial results, business drivers, and recommendations.
Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and other financial performance drivers to identify opportunities for cost optimization, operational efficiencies, and improved financial results.
Track progress against annual financial objectives, monitor key performance indicators, and work with business leaders to develop corrective action plans when performance deviates from expectations.
Support financial process improvements, reporting enhancements, system implementations, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall financial visibility.
Serve as a hands-on finance partner, balancing strategic financial analysis with the execution of day-to-day financial planning, reporting, and operational support responsibilities.
