Job summary

Champion Petfoods is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our growing team. The role leads financial analysis, reporting, and planning and supports the FP&A Director in budgeting and strategic growth.

Based at our corporate office with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-person), the position offers exposure to our global premium brands and opportunities to mentor junior staff and influence decision-making.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a finance role.
• Minimum two years’ experience within the consumer-packaged goods industry preferred.
• Strong financial writing skills; ability to tell the story around the numbers.
• Experience with ERP systems, including reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Report and analyze financial statements and corporate results.
• Facilitate monthly business reviews and KPI reporting to executives.
• Prepare monthly financial and operational KPI reporting for stakeholders.
• Partner with IT to enhance ERP data capture and FP&A reporting.
• Coordinate with Global regions to manage regional reporting and KPI reviews.
• Mentor, develop and manage junior staff as required.
