Champion Petfoods is expanding! We are looking for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our rapidly growing company. The role supports budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting for senior leadership.

This position works from our corporate offices with a hybrid schedule, and partners with accounting, IT, and operations to improve ERP reporting and financial storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a Finance/Accounting degree, 5+ years in finance, CPA preferred, and strong Excel

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience in a finance role.
• Minimum two years' experience within the consumer-packaged goods industry preferred.
• Strong financial writing, storytelling around numbers.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis, reports, and KPI packages for executives.
• Manage monthly close, budgeting, and long-term planning.
• Lead FP&A activities and collaborate with IT for ERP reporting.
• Provide ad hoc analyses, scenario planning, and business cases.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
