Job summary
Champion Petfoods is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead financial planning, analysis and reporting. The role supports the Director FPA/Treasury in annual budgets, latest estimates and strategic growth plans, delivering insights and actionable recommendations to executives.
The position is hybrid, with three days in-office, and reports to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum five years' experience in a finance role.
- Minimum two years' experience in consumer-packaged goods.
- Strong financial writing skills and ability to tell the story behind numbers.
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Forecast, report and analyze corporate financial performance and KPI results.
- Coordinate monthly business reviews and prepare management reports.
- Partner with accounting to improve ERP data capture and FP&A reporting.
- Lead budgeting and long-term financial planning with Director FPA/Treasury.
- Drive cost controls and identify opportunities across SG&A.
- Mentor junior staff and manage multiple deadlines.
