Morningstar Wealth is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead the US Investment Management finance function. You will own planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews, delivering clear narratives to senior leadership and challenging assumptions as needed.

Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role requires strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and comfort with AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A experience with finance storytelling to leadership.
• Strong business acumen with ability to connect financial outcomes to operational drivers.
• Experience owning financial performance narratives and presenting to senior leadership.
• Comfortable exploring AI-enabled capabilities in FP&A, including automation and narrative generation.
• Experience in asset management, wealth management, or financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end FP&A processes for the US Investment Management business.
• Lead budget, forecast, and long-range planning with business leaders.
• Act as the primary finance partner for US Investment Management leaders.
• Own monthly and quarterly performance reviews with credible variance explanations.
• Validate assumptions and push back on weak explanations before outputs reach leadership.
• Embed AI-enabled tools and standardized FP&A workflows to improve speed and accuracy.
