Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to assist the Director and SVP in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow and regulatory reporting obligations. The role requires intermediate to advanced Excel skills and a track record of excellence in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

The position involves building financial models, presenting to executives and boards, and leading analyses to drive performance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of FP&A or comparable experience.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Health plan experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting and auditing principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecast, and five-year forecast.
• Assist monthly review of financial results.
• Analyze corporate and financial information.
• Participate in corporate financing (debt and equity) and M&A transactions.
• Prepare presentations to Board of Investors and Investors.
• Build financial models based on operational drivers of the business.
• Improve financial and operational status by analyzing results, monitoring variances and trends, and advising management.
• Develop materials to share analyses with senior management.
• Demonstrate commitment and attendance to complete duties as required.
• Perform related duties similar to the above in scope and function.
