Job summary

SolomonEdwards, a rapidly growing company headquartered in Philadelphia, is hiring a Manager of FP&A reporting to the CFO. This standalone role will own all FP&A functions with a heavy focus on financial modeling, analytics, and decision-support to drive business growth.

You will create sophisticated models, perform profitability analysis by division and customer, produce monthly management reports and Board packages, and partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and cost-saving

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Background in investment banking or corporate FPA.
• 5+ years of progressive experience.
• Excellent financial modeling skills REQUIRED.
• Experience in financial analysis and analytics.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Solid business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain sophisticated financial models and analytics.
• Perform profitability analysis by division, customer, location, etc.
• Evaluate new business ventures, products, and markets and provide financially-based recommendations.
• Identify and monitor trends and KPIs.
• Create monthly management reporting, Board and Executive packages, and provide insight into financial results and trends.
• Perform break-even analysis, ROI analysis, pricing support, and scenario analysis.
• Manipulate data to identify meaningful relationships and provide insight into the business.
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure profitable growth of the company.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Utilize systems and AI-driven tools to capture and track data.
• Ad hoc projects as required.
