StevenDouglas is seeking a Financial Analyst (FP&A) in Florida to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning. You will build financial models, analyze variances, and provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency.

You will partner with Operations, IT, and Finance, deliver monthly reports, and help prepare executive presentations. A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 1–3 years in FP&A are required; strong Excel and BI skills are preferred.

  • 1–3 years FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
  • Strong Excel modelling and BI/reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses for management review.
  • Partner with Operations, IT, and Finance to identify cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue growth.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to evaluate financial risks and opportunities.
  • Support the annual budget and reforecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in financial reporting and data analysis.

This role ensures the delivery of impactful analysis, forecasts, financial modeling, and monthly reporting by combining financial expertise with a deep understanding of business operations. Key responsibilities include enhancing operational efficiency, supporting financial goals, and contributing to the company’s long-term success. The Financial Analyst (FP&A) collaborates with Operations, Finance, IT, and company leadership to maximize efficiency and minimize costs in alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
