Job summary

NANO Nuclear Energy Inc. is seeking an experienced FP&A leader to build the function from the ground up in New York. This role shapes forecasting models, planning processes, and reporting infrastructure to support growth toward commercialization.

You will partner with senior leaders, translate complex data into actionable insights, and design the operating and investment models that inform executive decisions while implementing scalable financial planning systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of FP&A or related experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience building or scaling planning processes, models, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel and hands-on financial modeling skills.
• Experience with annual budgeting and long-range planning.

Responsibilities

• Establish and scale FP&A capabilities, including planning processes and forecasting infrastructure.
• Own annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop detailed financial models linking operating assumptions to performance, cash flow, and investments.
• Build scalable, standardized processes for consolidating results across units and systems.
• Deliver insights through regular budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual reporting.
