Job summary

Our Client seeks a seasoned FP&A leader to own the end-to-end FP&A function within a PE-backed, growth-focused fintech/Payments/SaaS organization in New York. You will build the engine that drives financial strategy, improve visibility, and prepare the company for its next growth phase.

The role partners closely with the CFO, delivering one version of the truth through scalable processes, robust forecasting, and executive reporting.

Qualifications

8–15+ years of progressive FP&A experience owning the full cadence of a finance department.
Experience in Fintech, Payments, or SaaS with transaction-driven revenue is highly preferred.
Exceptional executive storytelling; ability to distill data into strategic takeaways.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are required.
Comfortable leading in a lean, PE-backed, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end FP&A cycle, including month-end close support, rolling forecasts, annual planning, and executive reporting.
Build scalable processes and a single version of truth for the board and leadership.
Act as a right hand to the CFO, translating transaction data into actionable narratives and insights.
Own revenue forecasting in a transaction-based model (volume, pricing, margin dynamics).
Identify business drivers, risks, and opportunities to support data-backed decisions.
