Job summary

The Nuclear Company is a fast-growing AI-enabled startup focused on nuclear and energy. The Manager, Development Finance supports day-to-day financial tracking for active construction projects, building and maintaining models, dashboards, and reporting packages used by leadership.

Ideal candidate has 3-5 years in FP&A or project finance, strong Excel skills, and a BS in Finance/Accounting. EPC exposure and experience with Palantir Foundry/Power BI are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in FP&A, accounting, or project finance.
• Strong Excel skills; able to build and maintain models independently.
• Comfortable working with large, multi-project datasets under deadline pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monthly actuals: pull and reconcile project-level spend against budget.
• Reporting support: build and maintain deployment reporting package and capital dashboard.
• EPC billing support: track milestone billing and change orders from EPC firms.
• Ad hoc analysis: respond to Director/VP requests for cost or schedule cuts.
• Data hygiene: keep underlying project finance data clean and consistent across systems.
