Job summary

Bullpen, a growing real estate investment and operations firm in New York, seeks an analytical FP&A Associate/Senior Associate to scale its financial planning capabilities.

You will build budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans, deliver Actual vs. Plan analyses, and partner across Finance, Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Property Operations to drive portfolio performance and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or advisory experience.
• Real estate exposure preferred or within real estate platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and multi-year financial plans.
• Produce Actual vs. Plan reporting across consolidated and property-level P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flows.
• Develop financial models supporting business planning, growth initiatives, capital allocation, and strategic decision-making.
• Perform monthly financial statement, variance, and flux analysis.
• Identify operational and financial drivers behind portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with Asset Management and Property Operations to explain results and improve profitability.
• Analyze property-level revenue, expenses, occupancy, and other operating metrics.
• Support CFO and senior leadership with strategic projects and ad hoc analyses.
