Job summary

BGRE is seeking an Associate for the Regional FP&A team in North America to deliver forecasts, analyses, and strategic insights across a diverse portfolio. You will collaborate with accounting, asset management, and investor relations to support planning and decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in real estate accounting, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with AI tools to enhance reporting. This on-site role at our NY office offers a clear path for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
• 2–4 years accounting experience, ideally in real estate.
• Accrual and/or financial statement experience required.
• Argus experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Yardi preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and standard MS Office tools.
• Ability to use AI tools to enhance analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication and ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, discounted cash flows, and valuation projections for the corporate business plan.
• Support monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statement forecasting.
• Prepare quarterly leasing forecast with activity, assumptions, and expirations.
• Produce financial and market analyses and board presentations.
• Collaborate with accounting during monthly close for accuracy.
• Coordinate with asset management, lease administration, corporate services, marketing, and IR.
• Execute ad-hoc projects and financial analyses as needed.
• Convey insights through clear, structured narratives.
• Analyze cash flow projection reports for existing properties.
• Support strategic objectives across a diversified portfolio.
