Job summary

Relay, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to join the FP&A team in Raleigh, NC. You will partner with business leaders, help run the planning process, and build AI-enabled financial analyses for senior leadership and the board.

You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with strong academics, and you have experience with financial modeling and Excel-style tools. This in-office internship offers exposure to leadership and a chance to work on high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Math or a quantitative field with strong academics.
• Interest in rigorous analytics, finance, and US GAAP familiarity is a plus.
• Experience with financial modeling and data analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support annual operating planning (AOP) and long-range planning end-to-end.
• Build analyses, scorecards, and recommendations for executive leadership.
• Automate data ingestion, reporting, and reconciliation with AI tools.
• Create dashboards and BI outputs with clear metric definitions.
• Prepare board, investor, and lender materials.
• Assist with OpEx planning and cross-functional partnering.
• Assist monthly close and reporting processes with accuracy.
