Job summary

Relay is seeking a Software Engineering Intern (AI/ML) for Summer 2027 in Raleigh, NC. Open to undergraduate or graduate students graduating Dec 2027 or Spring 2028. You will build tools turning voice into structured data and integrate AI into workflows in a high-growth environment.

Summer interns work full-time in-office at our Raleigh HQ, with exposure to leadership, structured learning, and real ownership of projects from kickoff to presentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, ML, or related field with expected graduation Dec 2027 or Spring 2028.
• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• At least 1 year of development experience.
• Strong ML skills and familiarity with PyTorch or JAX.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product functionality, enablement tools, and issue resolution.
• Analyze requirements, propose architectures, assess risk, and estimate effort.
• Participate in Agile development and push code to production.
