Job summary

Coast Professional, Inc. in New York seeks a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and profitability analysis, partnering with the President & CFO to translate operations into actionable financial insights.

Responsibilities include annual budgeting, long-range planning, pricing models for new opportunities, and executive decision support with a focus on performance across contracts and locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA, CPA, CMA or other advanced degree preferred but not required.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in finance, financial analysis, budgeting, pricing, or related disciplines.
• Experience in a labor-intensive service business and knowledge of government contracting or BPO capabilities is highly desirable.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; ERP, budgeting, BI, and data analytics systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process across departments, contracts, locations, and lines of business.
• Develop and maintain consolidated budgets and detailed budgets by contract, department, location, and line of business.
• Lead financial modeling and pricing for new business opportunities and contract renewals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and analyze variances to budget and prior periods.
• Develop profitability reporting by contract, client, location, and line of business.
• Provide executive decision support with scenario analysis and strategic financial insights.
