Job summary

Advice Personnel seeks a Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for a fast-growing PE-backed organization in New York. You will partner with commercial, operations, and executive teams to drive performance and value creation.

You will build financial models, analyze opportunities, and support acquisitions, with direct exposure to senior leadership and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 7–10 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes to support strategic objectives.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and liquidity analyses to support capital planning and operations.
• Partner cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and executive teams to evaluate performance, profitability, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models for planning, scenario analysis, and key initiatives.
• Support acquisition activity through financial modeling, due diligence, and integration planning.
• Prepare executive and board-level reporting, presentations, and performance analyses.
• Evaluate ROI on strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisions across the business.
• Collaborate with finance leadership on ad hoc strategic projects tied to growth and acquisitions.
