Job summary

Insight Global partner is seeking a Director of FP&A for a growing manufacturing organization. This hands-on, individual contributor role owns planning, forecasting, and financial modeling in a newly public environment, partnering with Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities include leading annual planning, building integrated models, and delivering insights through KPI dashboards and reporting infrastructure, with an emphasis on manufacturing cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Significant FP&A experience with ownership of full planning and forecasting cycles.
• Ability to build financial models and FP&A processes from scratch.
• Strong three-statement modeling, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Public company IPO/de-SPAC transition experience.
• Manufacturing FP&A with standard costing, absorption, yield, capacity analysis.
• ERP or financial planning system implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own annual planning, quarterly reforecasts, and rolling forecasts.
• Build integrated three-statement, cash flow, and long-range financial models.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses for executive and Board decision-making.
• Lead variance analysis and translate financial results into actionable business insights.
• Analyze manufacturing performance, including unit economics, volume, yield, absorption, capacity, and cost.
• Establish KPI dashboards and management reporting.
• Partner with business leaders on production, commercial, supply chain, capital investment, and financial decisions.
• Support Board materials, liquidity planning, lender reporting, and public‑company forecasting.
• Improve FP&A processes, systems, documentation, and reporting infrastructure.
